As the MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week comes closer on the 24th of October to hold through the 27th, we pace ourselves in unleashing all the Great News we have for you towards Lagos premier Fashion Event
Last Month we shared with you our experience through out the MTN LFDW Awards Screening which held in Port Harcourt, Abuja & Lagos. Just before we announce the Top 12 Winners, we introduce you to. . .
Isoken Ogiemwonyi, a creative director of Nigerian contemporary fashion label Obsidian and co-founder of retail brands, Le Petit Marche (a monthly shopping event in Lagos, Nigeria) and L’Espace (independent fashion and lifestyle concept store). Originally a graduate of Law from the University of Nottingham, Ogiemwonyi went on to obtain a post graduate degree in Hospitality and a Masters in Management. She has been in the business of fashion since 2006.
Very deserving, she made it through the rigorous questioning by judges Mrs. Bukola Kajero (MTN) and Mr. Ibobo Chukwuma (MTN); Ojoma Ochai from British Council; Veronica Odeka of Vanestyles, and fashion designer Lanre Dasilva Ajayi.
Isoken Ogiemwonyi, representing L’Espace wins a cash prize of N2,000,000 and a tour of London Fashion Week, courtesy British Council who will also be hosting 30 other Young Creative Entrepreneurs from different parts of the world!
